SMELT ‘try-out’ kit – 4 colors

SMELT glazes were developed by ceramic artist and ceramics teacher Nora Nuyts.

These glazes have proven themselves for years in her courses. They are truly very stable and will rarely disappoint.

They perform best at Cone 6 (1222-1240°C), but show no extreme running behavior at slightly higher temperatures (up to cone 8).

The only determining factor for success is the thickness of the glaze layer. That is why we include all information on how to prepare and use the glazes.

With a 600 gram bag you can make 1.2 kilos of brushable glaze.
